As our learners grow, we should focus on their abilities to apply what that have learned instead of reciting facts. We can accomplish this goal by creating significant learning environments that allow students to fully understand and process the information we are giving them.
I have used Fink's guide to create a 7th grade geometry unit that allows students to connect new knowledge to prior knowledge and the classroom to real-life.
